Powertex dragonfly Lady "Miriam"

"Miriam"

Hello there , Please allow me to introduce you to Miriam , Miriam is made using the Powertex Bronze hardener . She is my first winged creation ( but it wont be my last, I can tell you) the wings are made from Aluminium wire wrapped in Banana Silk and then wrapped in distressed paper decoration white ( love this stuff)
If you don't know what paperdecoration is it is the bark of the mulberry tree that when wet can be delaminated into strands.

Powertex Bottle Trio

Powertex bottles

Hi all , These are our first three attempts at Powertex decorated bottles. All using Powertex Fabric Hardener . The first one as you can see is a Pirate themed Bottle Really love this , one of my favourite pieces so far.

This one is Heathers Center's First attempt pre-training . A really nice feminine take on the Powertex bottle Sculpture .

This is another of my Accreditation pieces originally done in Ivory Powertex and Clear gold Colortricx, I decided to re-do it with Powertex Colotricx Red which gives it an annealed  quality

Powertex Geisha Girl Statue

"Suki"

Hi this is Suki , she was made during a Powertex demonstration. She is made using a remnant of cotton curtain and Powertex bronze hardener. Her face and hair are hand detailed as are the individual adornments on her dress. I wanted a really vivid/bright  silk effect so on this occasion I opted for cosmic shimmer metallic acrylics and finally a dry brushing of Powertex colourtricx clear gold.
Everything was finally sealed with Powertex Glossy Varnish.
hope you like this as much as I do.
