The big day has arrived!

Today Heather will become Mrs Heather Glossop

I couldn't be happier, the bouquet and the buttonhole are a representation of our origins.

Those that know me will know I'm a Yorkshire man through and through ( good points and bad points)

Heather is Scottish by birth, to us it made perfect sense to combine the Yorkshire rose and the Scottish thistle in our wedding flowers.

The florist has made a lovely job of them.

Crafty Urchins Powertex Workshop

And The Results Are

We recently did a couple of Sundays at Crafty Urchins in Cheadle Staffs.

I think you will agree the results are stunning and hopefully a great day was had by all.

The Pixie houses were made in the morning and the Christmas tress were made in the afternoon.

Both finished projects were painted at the end.

Classy Conical Christmas Trees

Pixies On Parade

Another fantastic Sunday afternoon crafting in Cheadle.

A re-visit to Crafty Urchins for a pair of lovely Christmas projects.

The morning sessions was taken up by a parade of pixie houses and like the pixies that live in them they came in various shapes and sizes.

The afternoon was spent doing classy conical Christmas trees.

Both projects taught using Powertex products and taught by yours Truly and assisted by Heather, both of us are accredited Powertex Tutors.

Triptych Assortment

What a fantastic assortment of triptychs. I really enjoy making these.

The ladies that made them did a great job with lovely earth tone colouration.

Made using Ivory Powertex fabric hardener and Powertex stone art powder 

coloured with Sennelier and Golden Acrylic paints.

A Weekend of Powertex Fun

Saturday we took a trip down to Romford to That's Crafty, where we had the pleasure of teaching a lovely mini statue in the morning.

The Afternoon was taken up making some fab Powertex Triptychs.

Christmas has Started!!!

Well it's Here

Christmas has officially arrived here at Rosie Mcstone Studios with our first official Christmas workshops of the year.

We managed to squeeze 2 fantastic projects into the day.

Firstly a classy conical Christmas tree, followed by a vintage Victorian Christmas Bauble.

Both projects made using the fabulous Powertex products stocked by us at RSM.

Fantastic Statue Workshop at PDA Crafts

Ladies that Lunch

Its been a while since I taught a full size statue workshop.

It always amazes me how half a dozen people can sit down with the same set of kit and come up with such diverse creations.

The ladies in this workshop all produced excellent pieces as you can see from the pictures.
